There’s nothing so satisfying as a cup of hot cocoa on a cold winter day. Unfortunately, many of the premixes contain high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup solids, processed sugars, artificial milk, and artificial flavors that are problematic to health.
This recipe for hot cocoa is one you can feel good about serving. Superfoods like raw cacao, raw honey, and organic coconut oil provide a host of benefits in a delicious cup of seasonal love. Enjoy!
- 2 cups vanilla almond milk
- 1 Tbsp. raw cacao
- 1 Tbsp. raw honey (organic and local if possible)
- 1 Tbsp. coconut oil
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
Heat the almond milk on the stovetop to a gentle simmer. Blend all ingredients including the warm almond milk for a smooth, creamy consistency.
